Billing Policy



This Billing Policy is current as of 8th. February 2020.

We, the Navl Limited offer You a subscription-based service to the content within the Refine App.  All purchases are subject to our terms of service found in the End User Agreement.

1 Payments

All fees are paid through our third party payment provider.  We are registered for value added tax (VAT) under VAT Registration Number: 183870184 and fees listed are inclusive of the VAT chargeable for the time being at the current rate from time-to-time in force.

Except for any free try-out, payment must be made at the time of purchase and before You have access to Your class(es) or subscription.

Subscriptions can be purchased in the App via our third party payment provider.  Different subscription plans may be offered from time-to-time.

The subscription fee will apply regardless of how much or how often You access or use Your subscription.

You agree that:

  • a subscription payment or payment for a single class or classes is subject to the terms, conditions and other licensing arrangements specified by our third party payment provider;
  • purchases are processed securely via the payment gateway used by the relevant provider; and,
  • you must, in the first instance, take up with the payment provider directly any payment-related issues You experience.

2 Recurrent Billing

Our third party payment provider will assume your payment method is correct and we will continue to bill fees and charges relating to Your subscription by Your nominated payment method;

If any subscription fees billed to Your account are not processed for any reason We may suspend Your subscription and/or other user privileges until payment is made in full.

We reserve the right to vary the fees billed for Your subscription-based services from time to time, but only for the next and subsequent billing periods.

In that event We will give You notice of the variation at least fourteen (14) days before it will come into effect; and

If you do not cancel Your subscription within fourteen (14) days of the notice of the variation, You will be deemed to have accepted the variation.

3 Cancellation

You may cancel Your subscription at any time on thirty (30) days’ notice to us.  If you give us less than this period of notice, Your next billing period, you will be charged for the next billing period.

After cancellation, You will continue to have access to the Refine App for the remainder of Your billing period.

To cancel your subscription via the Refine App, navigate to your ‘profile page’ and follow the prompts to cancel your subscription.

You must disable the ‘auto-renew function’ / cancel your subscription in your device settings, or through the relevant App store.

We do not offer refunds or credits for unused subscription periods, accidental purchases, medical conditions, or any similar reason or event, unless required by law to do so.

4 Late Payment and Default

If You do not fulfil a due payment obligation to us, we will have the right to block your access to the App temporarily until the owed payment is received, after giving prior warning and without prejudice to further statutory and contractual rights. 

Late payments shall attract penalty interest at the rate of eight percent (8%) above the base lending rate of Barclays Bank plc. from time-to-time in force.

If We take action to collect any unpaid fees from You, You will pay all reasonable fees and costs (on a full indemnity basis) incurred in doing so.
